Where We Stayed: Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort

ā€œIn just a few days, Bali gave us beaches, a brush with a python, and memories that call us back for more.ā€

Sometimes, even a short trip can leave a long-lasting mark on your heart. Our visit to Bali was brief—but it was packed with beauty, excitement, and a few bucket-list moments (yes, including touching a python!). We stayed in the serene, upscale coastal area of Nusa Dua, and the combination of luxury, nature, and culture left us completely enchanted.

šŸØ Our Stay: Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort

We checked into the gorgeous Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we’d picked the perfect spot.

Ā Ā Ā Ā ā€¢Ā Ā Ā Ā āœØ The property was immaculate, with artistic interiors and tropical landscaping.

Ā Ā Ā Ā ā€¢Ā Ā Ā Ā šŸ›ļø Our room was cozy yet chic, giving us all the comfort we needed.

Ā Ā Ā Ā ā€¢Ā Ā Ā Ā šŸ¤ The staff was warm and welcoming, always greeting us with genuine smiles and helping hands.

Ā Ā Ā Ā ā€¢Ā Ā Ā Ā šŸļø Plus, its location made it easy to access Nusa Dua Beach, one of the cleanest and calmest in Bali—perfect for family walks and sunset gazing.

Even though our time was short, this stay made us feel completely recharged.

šŸ›• GWK Cultural Park: Where Legends Tower Over You

We made our way to the stunning Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park, and let me tell you—it’s not just a monument; it’s a marvel.

Ā Ā Ā Ā ā€¢Ā Ā Ā Ā šŸ—æ The main attraction is the massive statue of Lord Vishnu riding Garuda, his mythical eagle companion.

Ā Ā Ā Ā ā€¢Ā Ā Ā Ā šŸžļø At 121 meters tall (yes, taller than the Statue of Liberty!), it’s one of the tallest statues in the world.

Ā Ā Ā Ā ā€¢Ā Ā Ā Ā šŸ“ø The setting is surreal—set on limestone cliffs with vast open areas, performance stages, and Balinese architecture.

Ā Ā Ā Ā ā€¢Ā Ā Ā Ā šŸ’ƒ You can also catch traditional dance shows, exhibitions, and local artisans showcasing their craft.

Standing in front of Vishnu Bhagwaan with Garud gave us chills—it was spiritual, grand, and unforgettable.

šŸ Bali Safari & Marine Park: The Wild, the Wonderful & the Python Moment

This part was purely for me—because I have an undying fascination with snakes. And Bali Safari didn’t disappoint!

Ā Ā Ā Ā ā€¢Ā Ā Ā Ā šŸ¦ The park is a massive wildlife sanctuary home to tigers, lions, elephants, orangutans, and more.

Ā Ā Ā Ā ā€¢Ā Ā Ā Ā šŸ¦“ You can explore via safari bus, walk-through zones, and animal shows. It’s both fun and educational—ideal for all ages.

Ā Ā Ā Ā ā€¢Ā Ā Ā Ā šŸ But the moment for me?

The chance to touch a real python during a snake encounter session.

As soon as the handler brought it out, I was first in line, eyes sparkling with excitement.

Finally, I got to feel the cool, smooth skin of the python—an absolute dream come true!

The only regret? I didn’t get to hold the beautiful yellow python I had my heart set on. But that’s just another reason to come back soon!

šŸ–ļø Nusa Dua Beach: Calm, Clean & Full of Charm

Our final hours were spent by the serene Nusa Dua Beach—a perfect end to the trip.

    •    Clear waters, soft white sands, and fewer crowds made it ideal for families and romantic strolls.

    •    We soaked up the sea breeze, played in the waves, and watched the sky blush with sunset hues.

āœˆļø Final Thoughts: A Tease of Bali’s Magic

We may not have covered all of Bali—but what we did see, experience, and feel in these few days was pure joy. From towering legends at GWK to slippery new snake friends, and golden sands in Nusa Dua, every moment was a memory stitched with smiles.

We came for a short escape… and left with a longing to return.
