Where We Stayed: Courtyard by Marriott, Singapore

Every parent-to-be deserves a serene yet memorable break before welcoming their little one—and that’s exactly what we found in Singapore. At six months pregnant, we were searching for a destination that was safe, clean, walkable, and full of beautiful experiences. Singapore checked every box. Our babymoon turned out to be a perfect mix of comfort, adventure, and a little Bollywood nostalgia.

🏨 Where We Stayed: Courtyard by Marriott

For our base, we chose the Courtyard by Marriott, a cozy and elegant hotel that gave us the best of both worlds—proximity to major attractions and quiet corners to rest. The room was modern and comfortable, with all the amenities a mom-to-be could hope for.

🌆 Exploring the City as a Couple (and a Bump!)

Pregnancy didn’t hold us back one bit—we kept our pace gentle, hydrated often, and prioritized comfort. Here are some highlights from our dreamy days in the city:

🦁 Merlion Park

No trip to Singapore is complete without meeting the Merlion—the city’s iconic half-lion, half-fish statue. It felt special standing there, surrounded by the skyline and sea breeze, taking in the city’s clean beauty with baby on board.

🌺 Gardens by the Bay

Walking through the Gardens by the Bay was like stepping into a futuristic jungle. The Supertree Grove, Flower Dome, and Cloud Forest offered calm walking paths, benches, and lush indoor greenery—ideal for a pregnant traveler.

🎢 Universal Studios & Sentosa Island

Even though I skipped the rides (hello, third-trimester!), Universal Studios on Sentosa Island was still a blast. We strolled through themed zones, soaked up live shows, and took tons of photos. Sentosa’s beaches and boardwalks gave us a calm contrast to the city buzz.

🎨 ArtScience Museum

This was a serene, interactive space—especially the Future World exhibit with its stunning lights and gentle, immersive displays. Great for a relaxing afternoon indoors.

🎭 Madame Tussauds Singapore

From movie stars to sports legends, this was fun and easy to navigate. Plus, it was indoors and air-conditioned—a definite win for anyone expecting.

🏨 That Boat-Shaped Hotel

We got a glimpse of the iconic Marina Bay Sands, often referred to as the “boat-shaped hotel”. While we didn’t stay there, it was amazing to just marvel at the architecture and the infinity pool views from a distance.

🎬 Bollywood Flashback: Pan Pacific Hotel

Imagine our surprise when we stumbled upon the Pan Pacific Hotel, one of the filming locations of the Bollywood movie De Dana Dan! It was a sweet little moment of cinematic nostalgia and added a fun twist to our day.

🕌 A Slice of Home in Little India

No matter where you are, pregnancy cravings follow! Thankfully, Little India made us feel right at home. The vibrant streets, colorful temples, and most importantly—the abundance of Indian food—made this spot a personal favorite.

From dosa and biryani to sweets and masala chai, everything was delicious, comforting, and easily available. We also found cultural familiarity that made the trip even warmer.

💡 Babymoon Tips for Singapore

If you’re considering Singapore for your own babymoon, here are a few tips:

👣 Take It Slow

    •    Singapore is walkable, but don’t overdo it. Plan breaks, sit often, and wear comfy shoes.

🧴 Stay Hydrated & Sun-Safe

    •    Carry water and wear sunscreen. The tropical weather can be hot and humid, even in shaded areas.

🛍️ Pack Light, Dress Light

    •    Breathable fabrics, comfortable maternity clothes, and a foldable umbrella will make your days much easier.

🚇 Use the MRT

    •    Singapore’s MRT (subway) is super clean, efficient, and safe—even for pregnant travelers.

🍛 Food is Easy to Find

    •    Whether you’re craving Indian food or something new, Singapore has countless clean and affordable food courts.

🍼 One Last Getaway Before Baby

Our babymoon in Singapore was everything we hoped for—safe, exciting, relaxing, and sprinkled with magical moments. From the sparkling skyline to the comforting familiarity of Little India, every experience felt more special with a little one on the way.

If you’re thinking of where to go for your babymoon, Singapore is a wonderful choice—balanced, beautiful, and incredibly baby-bump friendly.
